ONGAR CRICKET CLUB
Ongar Cricket Club was formed in 2018 and we are registered with CL and taking part in Open Competition from 2023 season. We are actively looking to gain our own ground in the Dublin 15 area. We are in talks with the County council and are confident of gaining our own ground soon.
We are proud to have got Ringcommons CC as our Partners for the 2023 season. Ringcommons (facebook.com/Ringcommonscricketclub) were a top team playing in Leinster League till 2020. They have a fantastic cricket ground, top class Nets facilities and a wonderful Clubhouse which includes indoor games and a well stocked Bar.
Ringcommons is a 30 minute drive from Ongar. This partnership with Ringcommons CC has given Ongar CC a perfect Home ground to host the 2023 season. Our players can make use of all the excellent facilities that Ringcommons offer and try to improve our game. OCC players get to practice in top facilities and not to mention the high class cricket ground which has a Turf pitch and also a Mat pitch. This enables us to host matches of higher divisions where Turf is a mandatory need.
